It’s not because of the switch that the show’s not for kids, it’s more because, well, it’s an ABC Family show, so sometimes stuff that’s not for kids (alcoholism and… other things, for example) is in the show. There isn’t really any of THAT going on right now, so to speak; the show right now is more focusing on teenage life and relationships, along with focusing on the families learning to work together and on the rift between hearing and Deaf culture.

  66. Nice interview. She seemed nice. But I’m not sure her show can be reccomended for kids. I remember years ago a Penna/Florida story about a real life switched at birth story. It was very serious and did not turn out well as the switch was done criminally. I gues that why I don’t take to the idea as light-hearted entertainment.
